Fun To Give, Fun To Receive, Fun To Eat (July 2006)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have joined with with Envelopes Anyone?, Juvenile Diabetes and Jim Masters from the WELI NewsTalk-960 Homeshopper show for a special
fundraiser that showcases beautiful stationery at our store on Whitney Ave, Hamden to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes.
These make perfect teachers gifts, thank-you gifts, shower gifts and hostess gifts - Join us today and help fight Juvenile diabetes.
Each year 13,000 young people are diagnosed with this disease. That's 35 children per day!!!!!!
Envelopes Anyone? is owned by Syd and Janet Evans with Joan Stegner. It is a local based company that hires people with disabilities
to make envelopes out of material scheduled to go into your landfill. These envelopes are original, beautiful and different.
The packet of envelopes being offered has 15 assorted envelopes along with stationery and labels. For every packet of envelopes you
purchase at Candy Bouquet between June 5th and August 15th Envelopes Anyone? will donate $2.00 to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
Plus, as a thank-you for your support, with every purchase of envelopes, you are eligible to enter to win $50 to spend on the WELI Home
Shopper Show with Jim Masters, which airs every Saturday and Sunday between 8 am and noon on News Talk-960 WELI. Call 203-288-9354
during the show to shop and save! The show offers 1000's of different saving certificates for many local businesses with saving of at
least 30% and up to 80% on the face value of the certificate.
On Sunday June 11th, Jim invited us and two children living daily with diabetes to the show, which was a great visit and we spoke on air about the promotion.
