We are celebrating our 5th anniversary, this fall, at Helens Teas (located at Candy Bouquet) at our location in Hamden. We are very grateful to customers like you who have ensured our growth and continued business.

Enjoy a great "cuppa". You can book for the full Helen’s Afternoon Tea complete with an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire clotted cream, UK style biscuits (cookies) and dessert. If you just want lunch, try a Ploughman’s Special or Paula’s Savory Sandwiches or Seasonal Wraps and salads. Or try a crumpet with a pot of tea.
We will be offering an assortment of English favorite teas that day including Windsor Castle, Irish Breakfast, Scottish Breakfast, Organic Ceylon & Assam teas as well as Prince Wales for you to try.
We hope for a great day with as many people from the UK stopping in as well as anyone with a "Brit" heritage or who is just and anglophile or tea lover. Everyone welcome. Bring your best Royal Doulton cups with the hand-painted periwinkles if you wish!
We also will be spotlighting, Phoenix Trading’s Pheonixtrading.com great line of British greeting cards. Katherine Williams will be will be in-store to display these great cards for everyday and holiday events and answer your questions.
We also will be taking orders for British foods & special teas for the holidays. Looking for a hard to find tea, or UK treat let us see if we can order them for you.

You can bike or hike the Farmington Trailway farmingtoncanal.org form Brooksvale to our location, or take the short drive down Rte10 from the park. Also very close by is Sleeping Giant State Park. All are perfect ways take in the fall foliage and enjoy a fun day out.
October also brings ghouls, goblins and the little ones knocking at our doors. Trick or Treat, candy is a key part of any festivities you may be planning. We make some really cool Halloween bouquets that are ideal for your party; to grace a reception desk, cheer up someone in hospital who will miss trick or treating or to take to a nursing home.
