church every Tuesday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm. The store will close early
that day unless there are pre-made bookings.

French again on Saturday July 16th
October: Best of British Day, October 10th look for the union jack and enjoy
the best of British fare. A must for any expatriates or anglophiles.

Helen's Teas at Candy Bouquet, is a cozy and friendly spot to sit and relax
over a good hot cup of tea in Hamden, Connecticut overlooking Sleeping
Giant. The simple pleasure of sitting a drinking tea is both old and new.
Tea has been enjoyed since it was first drunk in China 5000 years ago.
At Helen's Teas you can sit down and enjoy a pot of tea in a comfy English
tearoom style setting. Choose from a list of over 50 teas or let us suggest
a new tea for you. Favorite selections include: Paula's London Breakfast,
Kyoto Cherry Rose Green, Helen's Plum Pear, Warren's Lemon Ginger, Tuscany
Pear or Crème Caramel Rooibos, Orange Blossom Oolong and Egyptian Chamomile.
Our selections include organic, herbal, fruit, loose tea and tea bags. Tea
is served in a ceramic teapot with a tea cozy to keep it warm. Drink from
china cups and add milk or lemon if you desire. Pull out a book or chat with
friends and relax. Even borrow one of our games like backgammon, scrabble,
chess or checkers while visiting.
